How much do your services cost?

Our services cost $85-100 for the initial assessment and $70-85 for subsequent sessions.

Are your services covered by extended medical?

Our physiotherapy services are covered by extended medical plans and some qualify for MSP premium assistance. Our registered massage therapists services are covered under most extended medical plans.

The kinesiology services are not typically covered, the only possibility is if the plan provides you with a certain amount of money for you to spend on your health as you see fit. So check with your plan to see if this is possible. It is also possible, with a prescription that it can be written off on income tax as a medical expense. Always be sure to check with your plan for specific details.

What are your credentials?

Everyone that works for Personal Best Exercise Therapy is registered with their provincial governing body with several other exercise and therapy related certifications

What is a Kinesiologist?

A Kinesiologist is an individual that has completed 4 years at an accredited university with courses specifically related to exercise science. It can be compared to a pre medical degree with a focus on exercise, biomechanics, physiology, motor learning, nutrition and directed studies practicum or honours thesis.

What is a Physiotherapist?

A physiotherapist is a health care professional who specializes in maximizing human movement, function and potential. A physiotherapist may work with someone after injury, accident or surgery, or may work to prevent injury for instance with sporting clubs or in the workplace. Physiotherapists work in a wide variety of settings: hospital; private clinics; hospices; nursing homes; a patients own home; the workplace; sports clubs and gyms.

Do you do ICBC claims?

Upon referral from a physician and approval from the adjuster we gladly accept ICBC claimants. The cost for ICBC claimant varies depending on the service provided. The claimant is ultimately responsible for payment if, for any reason, ICBC fails to pay the claim. Please contact one of our representatives for more details.
